Hi…I started on Cape on tuesday but have had a constant mild headache above my eyes and top of head sinde wednesday morning. Has anyone else experienced this side effect and is it ok to take paracetamol?

I have had a few headaches during my 16 months on Capecitabine but mainly put it down to stress! I have also taken paracetamol when needed so I don’t think you should have any problems. Hope it clears up soon for you.

Thanks Nicky…ive also noticed since yesterday that the muscles at the back of my thighs are really sore and aching. The sort of muscle ache you get if youve done loads of squats! But i havent been doing anything. I read that muscle aches and joint pain are another s.e. so should i mention this to Onc?

My muscle aches in thigh have gone…but i feel a bit sheepish now because i’ve just realised why they were aching. 2 days before i had been squatting down in garden weeding!! that was obviously the cause…sorry ladies! Xxxx
