Hosptial travel

Does anyone else have problems with getting to appointments?
At St George’s Tooting the car park is ridiculously small and very expensive. Yesterday the congestion was so bad I couldn’t even get into the car park and street parking was about twice the price, when I eventually found a place a long walk from the hospital. The bus goes all around the local towns and takes 1 1/2 hours each way. Tube can be done in 1/2 hour so not bad. I prefer to cycle as is direct, easily the quickest way and no problem with parking. But oncologist will not let my cycle on chemo days.
Given that most people going to hospital are sick you would expect better parking facilities.
Can’t fault the medical service at all. They are brilliant but would like less hassle just getting there. Yesterday my mother-in-law had to dash out in the middle of chemo to feed the meter.
Just my moan of the day!
Take care, everyone
