How long before starting

Hi, I received my dates to start rads today, it will be on the 9th which will be 16 weeks after my operation.  I was always told, from the start, that I'd start within 8 weeks.

I started mine 9 weeks after surgery, my consultant told me they like it to be within 12 weeks of surgery  xxx

Hi Had chemo followed by surgery Seen oncologist who said 4 weeks of radiotherapy needed -how long should it be from surgery to starting radiotherapy -is 6-8 weeks reasonable?
