Ladies, just for my own curiosity i would like to hear from you if you had a hysterectomy 2 years before DX.
One or two ladies mentioned this before but that was a while ago.

I had hysterectomy and oopherectomy in Feb 2005 and was dx with bc in May 2007
Do you have a theory, pineapple?

Hi Sharon, i am trying not to repeat myself as i have put the same thread on newly diagnosed as wanted as many people to see this and also i didnt know what cat was best to put it in.
I remember a while ago , cant remember the thread but what seemed to be quiet alot of ladies saying they also had a hysterectomy a year or so before diagnosed with bc. I suppose it caught my attention and wondered if this has been looked into. I have put it to my onc and will see what he says.
I suppose my thoughts run along the line that after a hysterectomy maybe your immune system is so low after a major op that it lets the cancer cells take over.I dunno i am probly talking aload of rubbish
