Hi Current Bun
I also have secondary triple negative breast cancer. I was first diagnosed in 2007 in my right breast and again 9 years later in 2016 in my left breast and finally in 2017 I was told it had come back again and is now seconary. I have just finished my last chemotherapy and awaiting a CT scan to see if chemo has managed to hold back the cancer from spreading.
You certainly have a lot on your plate caring for your mum. Going through chemotherapy is hard enough on its own.
I have a couple of friends who have had cancer but not triple negative and theirs luckly hasnt returned. Its a very scary time as you unfortunately know too well.
I was going to suggest you go to the front page of the Forum and find the area about just being diagnosed (with Primary BC) but I see you have already posted there. This part of the forum is for ladies (and gents) with secondary BC so although you are welcome to post here you probably wont have so much in common with your treatment plan and recovery from your mastectomy. Good luck with your treatment going forward.
