INFORMATION SESSION FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER

Hi Everyone, our services team have asked us to let you know about the following up coming information sessions!

Breast Cancer Care, is running events for women affected by breast cancer in the Liverpool area.

Two free Information Sessions will be held on Tuesday 10 September in Liverpool city centre from 1.30-4.00pm and will focus on the topic Healthy Eating and Complimentary therapies. The sessions are designed to increase understanding of the importance of a balanced diet and the potential benefits of making lifestyle changes to help people live well after a diagnosis of breast cancer and to explore the potential benefits of complementary therapies for people diagnosed with breast cancer and for participants to have practical experience of a therapy.

The interactive session has an informal atmosphere and will give participants the opportunity to hear from an expert speaker and to ask questions about the subject. There will also be the chance to meet other women from the local area and to find out more about support services offered by Breast Cancer Care.  Participants are also welcome to bring friends or family members.

Interested participants are welcome to attend just one session or stay for both. Further information sessions planned for later in the year include, Lymphoedema and Exercise on 29 October and Breast Reconstruction on 3 December.

The events are free of charge, but participants must register in advance by calling Breast Cancer Care on 0114 263 6480 or emailing nrc@breastcancercare.org.uk
