My late aunts step-daughter who is 48 has been diagnosed with non-invasive breast cancer, as my cancer was invasive I do not have much understanding of the non-invasive so have a few questions which she has asked me but I do not know the answers to…

If her BC is non-invasive why has she just had 2nd op’ to try to get clear margins…her understanding being if non-invasive why difficulty getting clear margins?
She has been told tumour is hormone positive, grade 3…and there is a posibility of Herceptin.

Could anyone explain please ?
