Hi, I’m in a dilemma, I went for a routine mammogram on Wednesday 19 th of Feb, I received a letter yesterday with an appointment for the 5th of March, to attend the breast screening unit for a further examination… I have a 2 week holiday booked, and should fly in the morning, my sisters are telling me not to worry, and go ahead with the holiday, but I’m worried sick, any advice please .
Hi Jess, my advice would be to go and enjoy your holiday. A delay of 2 weeks is not going to make any difference to whatever investigations are needed. Can your sister ring the breast clinic , explain you are on holiday and get a later appointment for you? Best wishes Pat x
