Hi can anyone tell me if invasive cancer is diagnosed do I have to have chemo. I know I will need mastectomy but is chemo required. Thankyou

Not all invasive cancer requires chemo - it all depends on the size, stage and grade.

Hi

 

I had invasive Grade3 cancer, had not spread to lymph nodes. Just finished my Radiotherapy and got to take 5 years of Anastrozole. As mentioned previously it just depends on a lot of things. I was told it would be a 2% advantage to have chemo.
