Hi all, I am getting to my wits end going round in circles and wanted to see if anyone had any advice. I have had SBC for a couple of years mainly in my spine. Had rads 2 years ago which worked well and was on hormone treatment until Jan this year. Then it stopped working and I got the e/e combo which (apologies to anyone on this) did nothing for me except make me quite ill. Lots of pain came back and CT scan showed extensive progression - so they have given me more rads on my sacrum joint. I finished 2 weeks ago. Then OMG, the diaorrhea kicked in for a week. I lost 3/4 of a stone and the pain got worse. The other se have callmed down but not the pain. And nothing they have given me works. They all seem to make me sick.
I have been referred to a pain specialist who prescribed some unbelievable drugs (buprenorphine) which has made me soooooooo ill. Not just horrendous vomiting but dizziness ( like having drunk an entire bottle of whiskey). I read up on the se and it says vomiting and nausea. I just don’t understand why he’d give me something that will make me sick, knowing that so far they all have and I don’t tolerate drugs well. Ant sickness drugs don’t work either btw.
Any advice gratefully received.
