I am suffering this also coming up to two years post op! Could the healing be still going on? It drives me mad too you just want to forget about your body occasionally but i have had massive itching. I use a lot of creams and have an oil called 'emotional strength'. It feels like the muscles are constantly pulling and my other arm died after a chemo injection did the vein in. What can we do? No one cares
My oncologist said the effects of radiotherapy on breast tissue can go on and make changes for years and years...I'm still actively flaking 10 months after radio and even through a layer of fabric the skin can't tolerate a prosthesis for long enough to wear through a working day...
Hi. I had really itching like hot knives 18 months after surgery but it was under armpit and down by initial scar. Spoke to breast care nurse who advise was normal and can occur 6 to 2 years after the surgery. Hope this helps a little
Sorry I just read your note, just like to say I get it all the time but sorry cant help you as I dont know whyas well. I could only think its the tissues.

Two years post op and I have suddenly become very itchy around my scars. There is no reddening or swelling but it's driving me mad. Anyone else suffering?
