Hi all
At Breast Cancer Care we often hear from people who tell us that finding a suitable, well-fitting bra after surgery for breast cancer can be a daunting and difficult experience. For more confidence when choosing bras join us and other women who have had a similar experience at our Lingerie evenings this October.
As well as offering a practical guide of what to look for in a suitable bra, there will be the opportunity to be fitted and the chance to see how the lingerie looks on volunteer models who have all had breast cancer themselves and have had either reconstructive surgery or are wearing a prosthesis.
These evenings take place in a private area so it’s a safe, relaxed environment where you can meet others in a similar situation and share experiences. You are welcome to bring female friends and family members along.
Our events are free of charge but we ask participants to register in advance by calling Breast Cancer Care on 0845 077 1893 or emailing movingforward@breastcancercare.org.uk and this includes any guests you wish to bring.
