Hi I have had it twice and it is quite painful especially on your thighs I would say it hurts more than you expect it to but everyone is different. I was very bruised and still in discomfort months later. Advice I was given afterwards was to take Arnica (herbal remedy) it was too late for me to try as you are supposed to start taking it one week before surgery and one week after. It may have prevented the extensive bruising I had. Other advice I would give would be massage the area when comfortable as it helps the area to feel better and help with the healing.
