Living with Secondary Breast Cancer Day in Lanarkshire

Breast Cancer Care would like to invite you to our Lanarkshire Living With Secondary Breast Cancer Information Day on Wednesday 22 February 2017.

The day will include speakers on topics such as the medical management of secondary breast cancer and managing fatigue. The day will also include a practical 10-step skincare and make up demonstration from Look Good Feel Better. The aim of the masterclass is to improve self-esteem and confidence, and a small goody bag will also be provided to take away at the end of the day.

It’s completely free to attend and all refreshments and lunch are provided. If you’d like to book a place or would like more information about the day or, our ongoing monthly meetings in Lanarkshire and Glasgow just contact us on 0345 077 1893 or email secondaryservices@breastcancercare.org.uk

Women who have attended previous events have told us:

‘It was very nice to meet people in similar situations particularly with women my age group’.

[I gained]‘Time to listen and time to talk to others with secondary cancer.  All aspects were beneficial – only recently diagnosed with secondary & knew very little about it.’

_‘ Feel less isolated – happy to meet others & feel inspired by some of their stories.  Thank you.’_*

Please note : A generous donation from a supporter means we are able to support people in Scotland with the cost of travel expenses, childcare during the information session, or of bringing a carer should you have a disability. If you would find this helpful please call us on 0345 077 1893 so we can make the necessary arrangements.
