Living with Secondary Breast Cancer-Information on Clinical trials

Hi everyone

There are often opportunities for participating in clinical trials for people diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.  We understand how much information there is to absorb which is why we have developed some information sessions to be included in the March Living with Secondary Breast Cancer monthly meetings in Liverpool and Manchester

We will be discussing the purpose of clinical trials and research studies:

  • How trials are approved
  • Why trials are necessary
  • What do trials look like?
  • How are drugs tested?
  • What’s involved when participating in a trial?
  • Why/when it may be suggested
  • Eligibility criteria
  • Talking to your team about clinical trials
  • Accessing appropriate trials in your area and in other centres

Find out about Living with Secondary Breast Cancer Services in your area on our Website.  Alternatively please do contact our team directly secondaryservices@breastcancercare.org.uk or 0345 077 1893.

Best wishes
