Lobular Cancer

Hi there, I am new to the forum and finding it all a bit strange, you all appear to clearly understand the abbreviations. I now feel quite vulnerable as I am struggling with them,  but no doubt I will get the gist over time. :slight_smile:

I have recently had my lymph node biopsy, if the results show that the nodes are cancer free then my surgeon has said I can have immediate reconstruction. The ultra sound did not detect any cancer on the nodes, so I am axiously waiting to know my fate. Also they will be in a position to determine further treatment, chemo or radiotherapy.

 My mastectomy date is 16th October.

Has anyone had this type of cancer and had immediate reconstruction too.?
