Re: Low-Dose Oestradiol Option (Not what you might think!)

Hi again

Have just found this thread on http://www.breastcancer.org

http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/8/topic/738476

Seems like this hormone treatment seems to be breaking into mainstream medicine over there....

What did your oncologist say, Barbara?

Re: Low-Dose Oestradiol Option (Not what you might think!)

Hi Bahons

Have just followed your post. If you look at the cancer research trials you will find this is a stage 2 trial ( I think it is trial 25) which ends next year. I have printed out the details to show to my oncologist when I see him next week. I'm not sure whether he will agree to me being entered and I would have to travel to Manchester but the hormonal drugs have now stopped working for me and if there is a chance, albeit a small one, of it being successful I am willing to try.

Low-Dose Oestradiol Option (Not what you might think!)

This is a link to a report on http://www.breastcancer.org about some very intriguing research in treating hormone positive cancers with low dose oestradiol....
