Just want to add my condolences, so sad to hear about Marirose's passing. She has been a great comfort and support to many of us on here and will be sadly missed. 

Bonita, please send her family my condolences and let them know we will all miss her.

I'm so sad to hear that Marirose is no longer with us. I suspected things had maybe worsened because she didn't reply to my recent PM but she's regularly checked in on my when I haven't been posting. She was such a lovely, kind, thoughful and helpful lady - particularly to those of us on the skin mets thread. We'll all miss her terribly.

Bonita - Please do pass on my condolences to her husband and family. I know from her PMs how much she loved them and wanted to be able to spend more time with them.

Shocking news and a real loss to this lovely community.  Among a group of wonderful, warm and supportive members, Marirose was among the best.  She always had a kind and encouraging word for everyone, remembering details of their dx and treatment, whilst clearly downplaying her own struggles.  I do hope the BCC team can pass on to Marirose's family our genuine love and respect for this thoughtful, generous and caring woman.

I'm deeply shocked. I knew she wasn't feeling well, but didn't know it was to this extent. Marirose thank you for being one of my friends across the pond! Fly high with your beautiful new wings! Keep an eye on us! FF

I  am both shocked and very saddened by the news. I  hadn't realised dear marirose had become so poorly.

She was a really kind woman, generous with her time and advice, always caring and helpful. She was fun too specially in the 'cyber cafe'.

Please do pass on our love and condolences to her husband and family. She was a valued and loved member and it would be good that her family know she was cherished here too.

I did love you Marirose, and always will. You were so kind, always worrying about us all. You shared, cared, and gave your love. But you are safe and sound now. You were so brave to try the new ECT treatment, and shared it all with those who might have to follow. Rest quietly now. Your family must be very proud of you. I'll miss you. Oh I am so sorry and sad to hear this. I know she last posted just after Christmas. She didn't feel well, but many people didn't and didn't realise the potential consequences.

I was so sad to hear about Marirose. She was such a kind person and was so helpful and friendly to me, especially when we were both on Capecitabine. I will miss her very much. My thoughts are with her family xxx

Marirose (community champion); I didn't 'know' her as didn't frequent the secondary boards she used but did read her posts at times.... I am astonished to read that she had passed away. You would not have known she was so ill from her posts, she was giving advice to others, asking after people and full of positivity to such a short time ago. Truly rest in gentle peace Marirose, a brave and loved lady who I'm sure will be greatly missed by the secondary ladies.

Marierose's husband has shared with us the very sad news that she has passed away peacefully this morning. I know Marierose will be very much missed by all that have benefited from her supportive and caring nature.

A message from her husband, "I know that she thought highly of you all. Good luck to you all."
