I have just been told I have primary breast cancer grade 2 in the same breast that I had cancer in 14 years ago I am very scared they have recommended a mastectomy And to have reconstruction later because of the scaring from radiotherapy 14 years ago

Just replying to say welcome to the place no one wants to be…It’s rotten you’ve got another diagnosis, and mastectomy is such a drastic thing. I’ve been tying myself in knots about having this, but after a lot of thought/talking I’m a bit more settled. Hope you get enough time to talk through so you feel settled in what you need to do.
Maybe phone the helpliners, they are so kind and I’m sure will help you.
