Has anyone else had a result of mixed lobular and ductal BC? Would be interested to know how common it is.

Yes, I did. Apparently when the biopsy was taken a very small area of lobular bc was removed, hence then going onto to have a breast mri to check both breasts.
When the final results came through after surgery, it was classified as ductal, presumably as the biopsy might have removed the area in question.
It makes no difference to treatment, but does mean an mri is recommended as lobular bc does not show up well on mammos.
