Hi ladies,
Tommorow I am doing the moonwalk in Edinburgh 26.2miles. At the time of signing up for this I had no idea that the money raised didnt go to breast cancer care, however it does go to places like maggies centre and haven which I am delighted about.
I knew nothing about breast cancer when I was first diagnosed, I didn’t even realise how many woman this affected. I certainly do now, but I would like to think that being diagnosed made me realise what is important in life and what isn’t, I couldn’t have got through the first 3 months without the support of the ladies on this site, I have also attended the young woman forum in Glasgow which was brilliant and I met some wonderful ladies.
I am not looking for donations I just wanted to tell you all that tommorow night I will be thinking of each and everyone of you ladies who has been affected by this disease and those also who are no longer with us but certainly touched our heart.
I have a funny feeling that tommorow will be emotional,
