Thank you Rozita... you have just eased my mind. Well they took all my nodes out because all 25 contained cancer unfortunately. Oh the joys of breast cancer eh?? lol... Luckily after having a CT scan the cancer hadn't gone any further and i am 2 years out so im hoping it will stay that way. I will be happy when i have got all the 4 next yearly mammograms out of the way tbh.
As I understand it KBO, a recurrence takes place either in the WLE or mastectomy scar. If any lymph nodes have been removed, there won't be a recurrence in that scar. But they still check the remaining lymph nodes for recurrence. And yes, we all google - and regret it.
Hi Rozita, i cant help you on this im afraid but googling is the worst thing you can do.im just as bad though lol as i am trying to google about recurrences to node scar but it only seems to show up recurrences in the site where the original tumor was. Hope you have some luck finding out what the white spot is,
