Mum's Anniversary

Mum’s Anniversary

Mum’s Anniversary Hi all

It’s a year to the day today that my beautiful mum lost her battle to breast cancer.

I don’t know why I’m posting this really, but feel like I just wanted to mark the day somehow.

I’m determined that my son will not have to watch me get breast cancer either - that’s why this surgery is so important.

My thoughts are with everyone who has lost special people to this disease.

Hi Bev My thoughts are with you and your family at this time.It must be difficult to deal with the loss of your Mum (I still have mine and she has been a great support and freind to me)

I have two daughters aged 18yrs and 16 yrs (I am 42) they are terrified that I may die as I have a very aggressive BC, reading your post made me realise how much it affects our family.

My daughters are even more concerned about getting breast cancer because their Grandma on their Fathers side died two years ago with BC.

Are you having a mastectomy? Do you have the BRAC gene?

Take Care

Hi Bev My thoughts are with you at what must be a really hard time. I lost my father to lung cancer in 1988 and I still miss him terribly.

I’m glad you have the chance to do all you can to avoid breast cancer yourself.

Lots of love
Sue
