Hi, I am so sorry to hear your news and more so that you are a young woman with a young family. What is your type of cancer as this can dictate what level of treatment is available to you. Take as much support as you can and if there is a trial invovled ask to be considered for it. Good luck to you and I will be thinking of you in the days to come. xx
Hi Gill,
Welcome to the BCC discussion forums where I am sure you will get lots of good, honest support from the many informed users of this site. I see from your second post that you have posted in the secondaries area, here you will find that the users are very well informed about treatments/experiences and are a wonderful support to one another. I will put for you below the link to BCC's publication regarding a secondary diagnosis and hope that you find it helpful. Also, our helpline team are just a free phone call away if you need to talk to someone in confidence. You might also find it helpful to join in our Secondary Live Chat service which runs each Tuesday evening between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, the session is dedicated to those only with a secondary diagnosis, is hosted by a nurse to answer any questions you have and for you to gain some added support from others travelling a similar path to yourself. The regular users are a wonderful support to each other so please do give it a try. The only thing I would say is that at the moment Live Chat has to be accessed via a laptop/desktop the system we are currently using is not compatible with tablets/phones. I'll put you the link below for you to have a look at.

And here's another of our publications you might find helpful.
Take care,
