Can anyone Help? As anyone experienced new bruising appearing after a SLNB? Nearly 4 weeks after the surgery i have a new bruise in the area of my nipple where the radioactive injections were given. The bruise is purple and thread like, It is painful to touch but there is no lump and it is not hot. I’m wondering why, if it is due to the radioactive injections, it would take 4 weeks to appear? I did also initially have bad bruising following core biopsies but they have disappeared.Thankfully the lymph result was clear and I am now due in hospital for MX and LD flap reconstruction on the 11th Jan. Does the worrying every stop?
