Re: Newbie to forum

Hi Double trouble there is no breast cancer in my family either. I am from a big family 7girls and 2boys.2 of my sisters’ and my father died with stomach,, hodginkson, and pancreatic cancers my mother is in remission for womb cancer and my mothers brother and sister both had bowel cancer 3 of my nieces have had treatment for cancers cells after smear tests. It is a bit frightening for all my sisters and there children knowing that I have had BC. On hearing my Family history my surgeon as recommended me for genetic screening I have an appointment on 8th march. You have come to the right place the lades on this site will give you so much information, support and encouragement they are an inspiration good luck big hugs .Ann.G
