Ovarian cancer?

Hi everyone

After suffering low back pain since Christmas my GP sent me for a bone scan on Monday, which I am waiting for the results!!

However, I am 52, have been on Tamoxifen for 18 months, yet still have irregular periods and intermittant bleeding. I am now worried that it may be ovarian cancer after seeing the symptoms which include low back pain, bleeding etc. Has anyone else suffered these symptoms - or am I just being parinoid?

I am very worried and plan to visit the GP tomorrow.

Its never paranoid to take your symptoms to the doctor.I cant really help with your specific query though I’m sure I read that Tamoxifen can cause aches and pains.Have your periods ever completely stopped?If not then you may just need different meds.Its so easy in our situation to make our symptoms fit our nightmares,we all do itMake that appt. good luck.Love.horacexx.
