Hi everyone. I have been having weekly Paclitaxol for the past 6 months and have tolerated this very well. Had a bit of a celebration last week after my last treatment. However, got an email from my oncologist on Monday saying that I need to continue with chemo until at least December. Is this normal? There was no explanation as to why and I gave had no scans in the past 3 months.
Has anyone else had Paclitaxol for longer than they originally signed for? I’m not due to see my oncologist until mid August. I have just started to return to work this week, now worried that the tiredness will get worse and i will be signed off again.
