Pathology results and relevance of vascular invasion

Atat, I remember asking the surgeon about vascular invasion and remember being told that nearly all tumours have developed a blood supply before diagnosed.  If you need information about this please ask the breast care nurses or doctors involved in your case.  That way you get factual information and also understand the care plan.

I'm about to complete my radiotherapy following WLE and SNB, followed by re- excision of margins. Had 28 mm grade 2 ER+ no lymph node involvement, classified as stage 2
Just seen pathology results which mentions a focus of vascular involvement and I'm wondering and worried why I wasn't offered chemotherapy prior to rads. Any ideas?
