Hey Welshgirl dullard you are NOT...
1) Blame the chemo brain or whatever treatment you had brain
2) Blame the computer software for not doing what you tell it to
3) Blame the weather
4) Blame all of the above, which would be my choice.
Hope you get the chance to be part of the photo shoot... as I said, a brilliant way to celebrate your 2 yr anniversary... just got to my first anniversary of surgery yesterday (I had chemo first, so nearly 18m since dx) and it felt good!
That is so obvious!!!
Feel incredibly stupid and want to delete my post as I 'read' like a complete dullard!
I have to blame the depth of my current depression. The connections are so poor! And I'm no whizz with the technical skills......
Can do what I do but not a not else!???!!
Thanks Revcat for this suggestion and offering it so kindly....
You're a gem!
Hi Welsh girl, just a thought... could you copy the email address posted above by typing it into a message in your mail software? Sounds a brilliant way to mark your moving forward, and really important that people are able to be involved. Congrats on being 2 years post dx.
Unfortunately my computer won't access the address sited above by BCC representative!
Is there another way of finding out more about the day?
I live outside London so wondered about times for Feb 21st and whether I could get there in time or not? I would be travelling by train and Tube.
It is the second anniversary of my mx today and it could represent something positive for me whilst I remember it all with considerable sadness.... I am white and over half a century but looking ok!!!!
Can't believe I sound so coy???!!!
Just wanting to experience something new to mark this February 4th!
Hi I did a photo shoot in Nov 2010 for BCC and it was a very interesting and enjoyable day. Go for it.J xx
I did a BCC photoshoot in June last year and it was great fun, so I can recommend it for an enjoyable day out where you get to meet some of the lovely BCC people who do what they do for us.
Hi, just bumping this up! xxx
Our marketing team is looking for people who have experienced breast cancer to take part in a photo shoot. The shoot will take place on Tuesday 14 February or Tuesday 21 February in central London. We’d especially welcome Black and Asian volunteers, and women who are aged over 50. The photos will appear in our leaflets. If you’re interested in taking part, please email for more details.
