Post Surgery advice - Lymph Node removal

HI Ladies

I am in recovery, one week after left mastectomy and right reduction, my left arm pit is tender although due to the mastectomy the surgoen removed my lymph nodes from insde the breast area.

The weather is lovely and warm and I simply cant bring myself to use antiperspirent or deoderant, I am scared of doing some damage, my Breast care Nurses dont work weekends and I'm just looking for some advice.

Is it safe to use some for of deoderant so early after surgery - there is no wound?

Thank you
