At what stage are you in remission after surgerey or rads am i in remission now had chemo surgery and rads
They don’t say remission these days only “No Evidence of Disease” or NAD. I was given this at my annual check up after my mammogram. I was told they cannot find any evidence of cancer and this is as much as they will say. It was still a great feeling.

Thanks mariaon i did all screening b4 i started treatment the only traces where in my bust and lymps and ive had them removed now all my treatment is finished so can i say im NAD now
Hi Elaine, I was DX Nov 08, finished all treatment July 09. I asked my onc in March 10, “am I cancer free” and his reply was “we dont class you as that till 5years have passed, youre in remission.”
