Hi has anyone who has had radiotherapy been re scanned and the tattoo marks changed half way through their treatment. This happened to me and I found it quite unsettling?
It sounds unsettling Marilyn. I’ve never heard of it happening but I assume they realised they were not giving rads in the best place, or maybe they were then giving some booster rads where they direct the rads directly onto where the cancer had been.
They are however highly skilled & I’m sure they knew what they were doing. Why don’t you have a word with the rads nurse and ask why it happened. I’m sure it would put your mind at rest.
Try not to worry about it. They really are the experts!
