I had bc 9 years ago had mastectomy, chemo, rads. Followed up for 6 years. I’ve just had my 1st mammogram after 3 years . Now I’ve had a recall letter wanting me to go for further investigation. I’m totally shocked, I know they say often or not it’s nothing but because I’ve already been through this before I’m thinking the worst, I can’t face going through all this again. What i remember the most was this waiting game, waiting for appointments and results that was worse then the diagnosis. I’m trying to be positive but finding it hard. Just wondering if any of you have had similar experiences and can advise me.
