Hi Cheryl and others
Caught Norovirus so that was NYE scuppered.
We are having our New Years Eve tonight AND we have more to celebrate now than at the original one.
My Beast has not gone into Lymph nodes - no chemo
The 2 patches of it are grade 2 - mastectomy
but I am not complaining as could well mean no radiotherapy either, mastectomy will clear the Beast.
Then it seems I am suitable to have an immediate implant so firm boob here I come - haven't had that since before breast feeding
Op in a couple of weeks
Feel really happy about it all, just think sometmes I may come down with a bump.
Other thing is that tiny new grandson(born 6 weeks early) has been allowed home
oh joy
I just wish you all the positive vibes i have at the moment I can pass on to you all
So bubbly in fridge, dress sorted out (well may not be able to wear one for a while post op)(not that I do anyway!!)
Seems daft feeling like this and still having the beast but I think you will understand
Beryl(Matty)
Hi Cheryl big hugs from me me bp was through the roof pre-op but seemed to go down on day of admittance bizarrely and ok afterwards stress big time with me as with everyone during this time my results tues now fingers crossed feel quite relaxed at moment had my hair done this morning but also a couple of glasses of wine at hairdressers went at 9.30 came home at 1pm hubby thought id had a hair diaster!!!!!
Isn't one of reasons why we are here to moan to as well - to help put things into perspective
Tuesday will come soon I hope you get answers
matty
Aaargh, that is so unfair on you Judi, no wonder you're stressed! No words of wisdom to offer I'm afraid but I'm sure the others will, although I'm finding that singing along loudly to The Sound of Music that's on TV now is helping the stress no end (neighbours are probably saying the opposite!)
Roll on tomorrow, will be willing good news for you
x
Sharon

Oh Judi, so sorry you're still having to wait, seems endless doesn't it.
Hi ladies thought i would have some news for you but alas not waited for an hour to be told results would be on Monday after a meeting with Multi disciplinary team so the only thing i had done was my dressing taken off feel deflated now Love Judi xx
Hi. Awaiting is the worst part.
Initial mammagram 6.10.2014.
recalled 20.10.2014.
then seen 29.10.2014 - told I had breast cancer. Booked me in for surgery. Told immediately date.
12.11.2014.
Went in for surgery.WLE and SNB
Then called back for results 28.11.2014. Unfortunately it was in sentinel node.
they only removed the one node.
Told chemo recommended.
Next appt. Was 10 or so days later.
Pre chemo 22.12.2014.
Booked in for this Friday.
I stll feel I am lucky ad it was picked up early via screening.
Everything seems to be done quickly
.
I will need to have my nodes removed after chemo, then radio for few weeks.
Hope all ok with you.
xx
Just wanted to wish you well for this afternoon Judi, will be thinking of you

Sharon
positive vibes all round from me too ...xx
Hi ladies postman just been results tomorrow afternoon god im scared all over again Love Judi xxx
Hi. Apologies but I havent logged onto this site for a while.
Yes, all went ok apart from 30 mins delay.
Was just sat around waiting. Seemed like forever.
Pre chemo meeting was just with one nurse.
She went through all the side effects and to be honest I didnt really wish to hear them again, onc was very thorough.
She had a job to do.
I was there some time.At least a couple of hours.
I was originally told its 30 mins but you get an hour in case you have questions.
Saw the Paxman, cold cap units. Tried on cap.
Start first session
2.1. 2015.
Hope all is ok with you.
X
