Hello, I have just been diagnosed and need to have a mastectomy. I have been told I will probably need radiotherapy after surgery.
They have given me two options for immediate reconstruction: having an implant or using tissue/ fat from my tummy for a more natural look.
I’m 37, I have 32 G boobs at the moment, just wondering if any of you ladies have had either of these reconstructions and any thoughts?

I had the recon from my back muscle as having children recovery was better I also didn’t want to have implant surgery again after 29 years being in 40 s. Pleasedi opted immediate recon as think I couldn’t keep having surgery and getting it over with in one go. Was a big op and had to have help for while at home but better than having nothing there think I coped better x good luck
