I had MX and LD flap recon 7.5 weeks ago. SNB showed lymph involvement, so I had ANC last Friday - now waiting for results, but it seems I will be having chemotherapy. My question is, can anyone let me know how many weeks’ recovery time after ANC is necessary before starting chemotherapy? Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
Hi, my chemo started last Wed, 4 weeks after surgery. I think as long as your wounds heal nicely with no complications of infection or seroma, it should be 4 weeks.
