Hi,
When I had my MX and SNB last year, I didn't have any dressings as such. My surgeon used super glue to stick the wound together and as well as one stitch, superglue around where the drain tube came out. It got very itchy, and I piggled some of it off just so I could reach the skin to give it a little scratch. When the district nurse came out to remove the drain, she pulled most of the glue off - a double relief, drain coming out and the glue coming off. Now I have a neat scar across one side of my chest, which has faded well.
