Re: Scared and desparate

Thanks guys Thanks guys for your reassurances. Still have the absence but got my hubbie to take me to see an emergency gp who said that he thought the anti inflammtories are actually to blame. So trying to take that and hold it tight.
I know it's early days and everything happened really quickly so my head is really not in a good place. But today was a better day.
love to you all

Re: Scared and desparate

Scared and desparate Where do I start??? I'm a 40 yr old mum of 2 (3 & 5). I was diagnosed with breast July last year and underwent chemo, surgery and rads. I finished my treatment on 23rd April but three weeks ago started having severe headaches and last week dealt a double whammy of brain and liver secondary occurence. I had the brain tumour removed within two days and was out of hospital the next day, since then I have been weaning off the anti inflammatories slowly (about halfway thru) but I feel like my functions are ebbing away, everything is still working, but I have a "absence" in my feet which I just can't shake off. I have spoken to the neuro ward without much success to be honest, because I've not lost any function. I feel like I'm losing my mind quite frankly and I can't sleep which is obviously really not helping at all.
I saw my GP today and the surgery nurse and they gave me every reassurance they could be I just cant shake this feeling off.
I know no-one out there can help but just typing my fears in gets them out without scaring the hell out of my husband.

Thanks
