Hi Suzie I had the SNB two weeks ago and recovered well. Operation was fine, had quite a few painful days and nights after but the exercises helped. Unfortunately they found node involvement and I went in yesterday for ANC. All went well but back to the beginning against regarding recovery but at least I know what to expect this time. Painkillers and v pillow at the ready xx

Going to have my sentinel lymph node chased by a blue dye and then removed by surgery today. Only found out about the operation yesterday, never known hospitals to work so fast!! Not comlpaining though, good to get things started. I just had time to tell my 6 year old yesterday and the 'Mummy's lump' book really helped with that. She wasn't too sure about the 'no hair' picture, but she liked the idea of helping me choose a wig! So here's hoping the nodes are all clear, then time to move onto chemo...
