Doesn't hurt at all.A great relief.However,some more built up,and we decided to leave it.is a bit like a hot water tank,fills up as soon as it is empty.The body finds its own way to drain fluid.Only learnt this today as just gone back from appointment at the hospital!...So,I have basically answered my own question now!!!
Hi I had a mastectomy and lymph nodes removed, this week I have been so tender with fluid moving around and across my chest. I'm due to go for my results on Friday so will wait until tomorrow to see if they can remove this. Does it hurt when they do it only me and needles don't go well together.
I'm sure I have read that some have been back six times with the same thing to have this fluid drained.
Had DIEP nearly 6 weeks ago.Developed seroma,and 600mls was drained last week.Was told it would build up again,and it has,already.Has anyone had this,and if so,how many times did you have it drained,and how much was taken from you each time,and how soon was it all resolved?
