Severe anaemia...

Hi all,

I would like to pick your very wise and experienced brains…

I have undergone surgery and rads and now on Anastrazole - all very straighforward until now.

I have been feeling increasingly unwell over the past few weeks(breathless to the point I cant walk 100 yds and fatigued beyond fatigue) which led to me seeing my GP on Friday and undergoing a battery of blood tests - results back today show I am bordering on severely anaemic and he described my liver function tests as ‘deranged’.   I am meeting my Onc tomorrow so wanted to be able to present these results to him to consider as a result of radiotherapy and/or a rare reaction to Anastrazole.

I hope it is one or t’other of the above as my GP is referring me to a gastro specialist as I have a history of cholecystitis as well as heart problems.

So my question is please have any of you lovelies had anything similar in response to rads or Anastrazole?

or indeed have any thoughts to share…

Hugs

Katie
