I had a Hickman line fitted 3 weeks ago and have now had both stitches removed. The nurse has just put 2 strips of tape on the tubing but I don’t have any dressings on. I forgot to ask whether I need a waterproof dressing on when I take a shower or whether it’s ok to just leave it as it is.
Has anyone else got a line and can tell me what they do please.
