Re: So scared and worried

hi there

never worry about being a nuisance - the worst case scenario is that you dont go and then down the line, it is BC. how would you feel then?

you must go - if your GP isn't helpful, insist on a referral to the nearest breast clinic.

hope it all works out well for you.

Re: So scared and worried

hi, I'm waiting for a first appt at a breast clinic and like you i am terrified! But you must go back to your GP, they do say better safe than sorry and to always get it checked if you are worried. I have a beautiful daughter too, she is nearly 20, but still my baby! Good luck Debs

So scared and worried

Hello. I am new to this website and am so scared that I might have breast cancer. I am 30 years old. I have recently found quite a hard lump in my right breast that feels like a hard piece of gristle. I have previously been seen at a breast clinic and had an ultrasound and they said that I had nodular breasts. At the time I have to say that I wasn't convinced but have never said anything as presumably they know what they are looking at but now I have found this other lump and don't know what to do. I am scared to go back to my GP in case they think I am nuisance but I don't know what else to do. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and cannot bear the thought of getting sick and not being with her. Any advice/reassurance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Julie
