Sore Finger after ruptured implant removal

I had an infected ruptured left side implant removed last week and now the ring finger of my left hand is very sore when I bend it and my wrist feels a bit stiff. Is this normal? I’m told that because I have no lymph nodes on the left having had these removed ten years ago with the original mastectomy, some silicone could very well have escaped the lymphatic channels.

Could the finger be a symptom of this or am I just being paranoid and I’ve just pulled a muscle?!

Dear AliBaby

You could give our Helpline a call to talk this over.  They will be open again tomorrow at 9.00am (9-5 weekdays and 10-2 on Saturdays)  They will be able to offer practical information and emotional support.  The number is 0808 800 6000

Very best wishes

After my mx, my middle, ring and little fingers tingled and were sore. I was told that the nerves going to them are under your arm and can be “caught” during the surgery. Mine has settled ok now
