Spinal cord compression and confusion

Hi, I am writing this about my mam. She has secondary breast cancer in spine (amongst other places), for the past 2 weeks hr walking hasn't been as good as it was and yesterday she was taken into hospital as she has very limited movement in her legs and can't walk. We haven't had the results back yet but it has been implied that it maybe her spinal cord. As well as this in the last 2 days she has become in readable confused, forgetful (forgetting nearly all of yesterday afternoon) and a little aggressive. I am very worried about her, especially about her mind and wonder if anyone can give me any advice or has any understanding. Thanks Susie10
