 Morning Ladies,  

 

 Has any one  any further info on the use of statins , in Er + breast cancer.  News this morning , for cases where hormone treatment has failed  taking statins will be the answer as they think that these cancers that feed on ER also feed on cholesterol.  Think it will be a bit to late for my group, alrady got mets  but  another glimmer of hope to cling on to .

There has been a lot of trials about statins. Hope they r positive as they are easy to tolerate more than hormone therapies.
My hubs has been taking them for years with no se.
I just wish they would hurry up with these trials so we can benefit !!
No doubt for bc they would add other things into the treatments though.
