Hi I had my stratus mesh following a
botched reconstruction 8.4.2009. Changed
from NHS to private
My surgeon told me I was the first in
UK to have this fitted. Being a younger
person it was so important for me to
have reconstruction but was told when
going Down to theatre not sure if it would
work. Really glad to report it did! Apparently
it is my picture in the books and have been
told they may do a story on me. Had nipple
recon also but that is only ok and does
cover my scars just not the ones in my head
