Thanks for asking. The lumpectomy was surprisingly easy, but the lymph node c,ear acne was a bit of a b***ger. The drain was a nuisance for a while too. My first chemo was nearly two weeks ago, and so far it's been no worse than bad hay fever. It is of course cumulative , so is expecting each dose to be worse . Don't care, if it fixes me that's ok. 😄
Hi .Jules,Minot quite sure what you are have, so would suggest you phone your BC nurse. I had a lumpectomy but was given a load of paperwork telling me about it, plus the consent form. My op was as a day patient , then I came home with a drain. The district nurse then had to visit. So lots of questions for you to ask. Good luck. Hope someone can help. X
