Supporting Mother-In-Law, as no internet.

Hello, I hope you don’t mind me using the site, to help my mother-in-law, who has no internet, she keeps asking me questions because my Mum has had 5 different cancers, and a lot of treatment, and is now all clear (Fingers crossed this is the end) My mum said this site was amazing, and to sign up.

My Mother-in-law, has had roller coaster of a ride, even to find out she had breast cancer.

Short story is that she had her first lot of FEC-T chemotherapy on Monday for breast cancer, she is having 4 cycles 21 days apart for 1.5 hours each.

She will then be having surgery and then radiotherapy.

We have got a lot of info from MacMillan and this has helped a lot, but she would like to ask some questions that, I (nor my Mum) can answer as its different treatment.

  1. She asked how long does the chemotherapy chemical stay in her body
  2. And how long do the side effects last for, after finishing treatment.

Thanks in advance
